Dina Meyer was born in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island shortly before the end of her final term of junior high. There are two of her younger siblings and an older brother. From the age of nine up to 16, she started working in the entertainment business via modelling. Her acting career began with The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She was a student of Sanford Meisner's techniques along with Ron Stetson for three years. Sandra Bullock received similar training and also Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton are among the actors who have received this type of training. Her first acting role came in Beverly Hills 90210. This meant she had to move out in Los Angeles. After being offered the lead part on Johnny Mnemonic where she did majority of the stunts her own, she established herself as an actress physically fit. Through the agents that was Matt LeBlanc that she was to be able to get a regular part in the TV show Friends.
