Aspen Ladd's experience in combat sport began when she was just 14 years old. Aspen Laddd started training in BJJ, kickboxing boxing, and wrestling prior to her amateur debut at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd went on to improve upon her win during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She defeated all her opponents in the first round. Then she fought at WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo ahead of a match against Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen in the fight, beating her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's records as an amateur were damaged. Ladd rebounded from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her score to eight-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in 2015. Aspen joined Invicta FC and made her debut. Aspen faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her debut fight in the Bantamweight division. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission in the 2nd round. Aspen took on McGill in her wrestling, to finish her off with the third round by TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) in which Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen took on Hoy and finished her at the end of round two via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion in a unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 with Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina as she used a combination of ground and pound to win by TKO in the 2nd round. She continued her dominance and racked up an impressive win in her next bout against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd won over Evinger in the first round and got a performance of the night bonus. Her debut fight was in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. They fought in an intense fight which Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in 16 seconds and ended her record of wins. in the 3rd round on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. The fight was with Norma Dumont as a substitute in her most recent fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. Dumont was defeated in a unanimous decision.
