Scarlett Johansson is an American actor and singer who is born in NYC New York on November 22 1983. Her acting has earned her praise across a vast spectrum of genres such as the genres of period drama, thrillers as well as action adventure. Johansson was born in New York City, and raised there by her producers mother and father, who were both architects. She and her twin brother Hunter were the smallest of the four siblings. The film gained her more attention in Ghost World (2001) as the cynical outcast Rebecca.
